Lumiere Skincare is a self-initiated skincare and makeup brand I developed as my capstone project. As both the creator and designer, I focused on building a brand that reflects my passion for wellness, design, and sustainability. Lumière is an eco-conscious skincare line that uses organic and natural ingredients to promote healthy, radiant skin without harming the environment.

Brand Identity & Color Palette

The brand identity centers on harmony between beauty and nature. The color palette—green, blue, and brown—was chosen to reflect this:

  • Green symbolizes nature, renewal, and botanical ingredients.
  • Blue conveys purity, calmness, and hydration—qualities central to skincare.
  • Brown adds a sense of earthiness and natural grounding, reinforcing the brand’s organic roots.

Together, these tones create a clean, calming, and trustworthy visual identity that aligns perfectly with Lumière’s mission.

Website Layout & UX

The website design emphasizes simplicity and clarity. The layout follows a clean, grid-based structure with intuitive navigation:

  • Hero sections and product highlights are designed to immediately capture attention.
  • Ample white space and clear typography make information easy to absorb.
  • A sticky navigation bar ensures smooth transitions between sections like About, Shop, Ingredients, and Sustainability.

The site is fully responsive and user-friendly, making it easy for users to explore products, learn about ingredients, and understand the brand’s values at a glance.
