Global Food Festival Signage Design

Objective:
For a themed college dining event celebrating International Food Festival, I was tasked with designing a series of vibrant signage pieces in Canva very last minute. These signs were used at various food stations, each representing a different country’s culinary offerings.

Concept & Contribution:
The goal of the event was to create an immersive, educational, and fun dining experience. Each food station highlighted a different culture, and my signs helped visually distinguish each one while enhancing the overall festive atmosphere.

Design Approach:
Using Canva, I created signs that incorporated iconic elements related to each featured country — such as flags, patterns, or traditional colors — while maintaining a consistent layout for readability and cohesion. The designs were playful yet clear, making them easy for attendees to navigate while adding personality to each station.

Impact:
The signage helped bring the event theme to life, making the environment more engaging and enjoyable. It also supported the dining team’s effort to celebrate cultural diversity through food. This project demonstrated how thoughtful design can elevate an everyday space into an interactive, themed experience.
