When I was ten, my family and I moved from Puerto Rico to the United States in search of a better quality of life. Adjusting to a new country, language, and environment wasn’t easy—I missed the familiar sounds of coquí frogs, the vibrant island festivals, and the warmth of being surrounded by family. But through all the changes, my passion for the arts remained constant.

I had always loved drawing and creating, and as I got older, that passion grew into exploring digital tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. I soon realized that art wasn’t just a hobby; it was a way to express myself and tell stories that connected me to my roots. Alongside this journey, I discovered the magic of Studio Ghibli movies. The enchanting worlds, imaginative storytelling, and heartfelt characters in films like Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Princess Mononoke captivated me from a young age. Their blend of whimsy and profound emotion inspired me to see art as a portal—a way to capture that same sense of wonder and bring it into my own creative work.

This dual inspiration from my cultural heritage and the fantastical realms of Studio Ghibli led me to pursue a Digital Media major in college, where I delved into graphic design, branding, photography, and even coding. Over time, I learned that digital media wasn’t merely about creating beautiful visuals—it was about crafting stories and making a lasting impact. Whether I’m designing a logo, editing a video, or building a website, I aim to bring ideas to life in meaningful ways.

Now, at 24, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. I continue to blend my creativity with my cultural background and the imaginative spirit of Studio Ghibli, striving to create art that resonates with people and sparks a bit of magic in their lives.
